About Us
WHO ARE WE
HUMANE TOUCH is a registered, secular,
n o n - p r o f i t , N o n - G o v e r n m e n t a l
Organization (Registration no:381/1999-
2000) working in Bangalore City since
1999, providing hope to the less fortunate
and giving a “humane touch” to the lives of
all whom we come in contact.

Our VISION is to create equality in society.
Our MISSION Statement is “To make every
human being self sufficient and capable
of earning a living”.
HOW WE BEGAN
HUMANE TOUCH started as just a group of
young women with an urge to make a
difference in the lives of those less
fortunate. Initially Humane Touch adopted
the course of rehabilitating the disabled;
especially children affected with Polio. As
an attempt to help the disabled, Humane
Touch sponsored calipers and organized
surgeries when needed. This led to other
areas which needed a Humane Touch; a
caring way of reaching out to the lessprivileged
ones… |

Services
PRIMARY EDUCATION AND SCHOLARSHIP FOR HIGHER EDUCATION
Education is the key that allows people to
move up in the world, seek better jobs, and
ultimately succeed fully in life. Education is
very important, and no one should be
deprived of it. Humane Touch aims at
providing Education to every child who is in
need . Every year hundreds of enthusiastic
children are provided Scholarships in order
to continue their primary & high school
education, thus giving them an opportunity
to fulfill their dreams. Students who are
interested in higher studies are also
benefited a great deal from the Scholarship
Program.
HUMANE TOUCH provides quality
education at a nominal fee. The AL-AZHAR
Foundation School was adopted in 2002,
which had 60 students and 4 staff. Today
there are close to 400 students studying
from Nursery to class 7 with 20 staff
members. We manage Dr Homaida Kazim
Nursery School, in Mominpura whcih has
125 students.
All students are provided with 2 sets of
Uniforms every year.
